It has been one incredible year since we opened our doors at 617 Dominion Road, and what a journey it has been. From the very first bowl served to a curious passerby, to the hundreds of regulars who now call Pho Yen their second kitchen — every moment has been a gift.

When we started, we had a simple dream: to share the flavours of Hanoi with Auckland. We never imagined that a humble bowl of pho could bring together so many different people — students grabbing a quick lunch, families celebrating birthdays, friends catching up over steaming bowls on a rainy evening. You have made Pho Yen more than a restaurant. You have made it a home.

Staying True to Our Roots

Over the past year, we have stayed committed to what matters most — authenticity. Our broth still simmers for hours each morning, our herbs are sourced fresh daily, and every bowl is prepared with the same care as the very first one. Some things should never change, and our recipe is one of them.

Looking Ahead

As we step into our second year, we are excited to continue growing with our community. There will be new specials, seasonal surprises, and perhaps a few new dishes that honour our Vietnamese heritage while embracing the vibrant food culture of Auckland. But one thing will remain constant: our dedication to serving you the best pho in town.
